I think yous've misunderstood. I don't want a different computer app, I just desire to end the clicking racket when using the stock app.

Thank you in accelerate.

Aside from putting your phone into silent/vibrate mode, you can't, at least not so far in iOS 10. The calculator sounds used to be tied to keyboard sounds prior to iOS 10, but for some reason that was inverse in iOS ten (and so far).

It amazes me how somethings bother some while others are oblivious. The keyboard sound is at such a depression volume . . . . .

The divergence might likewise play a role, for a long time the audio was controlled by the keyboard audio setting and those who had those disabled would never heard this sound because of information technology, while suddenly in iOS 10 the setting no longer applies to that sound, so for someone not existence used to hearing it (because they disabled sounds like that using the keyboard sounds option) to now hear it simply that difference is enough to make information technology noticeable and of some annoyance most likely.

Returning to android over this? Unbelievable

Your merely solution right at present is the mute switch. Otherwise skillful luck on the other side of the fence.

This click sound drives me basics - I submitted information technology to apple TWICE during beta testing and never received a response...Oh well, perhaps ane day...without Jailbreak...

It's non and then much that we Apple tree or iPhone users are incapable of independent thought, it'south just that this item user happens to know where the tip of his finger is. When I affect something, I don't need the something to tell me. I tin can actually feel it. Otherwise, everything in every store should click when nosotros touch it.

This has to exist a troll thread. No way anyone would ditch iOS because of the sounds an app makes which is completely avoidable.

Using an iPhone requires surrendering to Apple tree.

So the given solution of "use 3rd party apps, not Apple'southward apps" is what you consider "surrendering to Apple tree?"

So what would you call it when someone actually uses Apple's apps? Double-surrendering?

I take to say information technology is kind of weird - I have the choice to turn off keyboard clicks nonetheless I tin't turn off the calendar date / time wheel clicks - pretty weird.

Yeah, all of that used to be controlled by the keyboard sounds setting prior to iOS x.

It amazes me how somethings carp some while others are oblivious. The keyboard sound is at such a low volume . . . . .

It is amazing to me how some people badger anybody effectually them (like in a waiting room or similar setting) with all the picayune sounds on their phone but they are completely oblivious to information technology.

Some are annoyed by the little things, other are plain annoying. I can non call up ever hearing keyboard clicks from another person merely their loud oral cavity in their telephone conversation while their baby screamed to loftier heavens does bother me. Instead of trying to condolement the crying child, she just upped her book talking on the phone.

Sorry but the piffling clicks from the calculator are a non issue for near.

Some things the human brain is used to more others.
